Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the added 1.91%.
The best performers of the session on the were Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS ORD (IS:), which rose 6.04% or 5.50 points to trade at 96.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS (IS:) added 5.94% or 12.40 points to end at 221.00 and Oyak Cimento Fabrikalari AS (IS:) was up 5.59% or 3.65 points to 68.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:), which fell 2.12% or 0.56 points to trade at 25.80 at the close. Kayseri Seker Fabrikasi AS (IS:) declined 1.92% or 0.46 points to end at 23.44 and Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:) was down 1.64% or 1.05 points to 63.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 338 to 214 and 23 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.19% or 4.95 to $2,550.25 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.73% or 1.34 to hit $76.08 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 1.58% or 1.27 to trade at $79.09 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.18% to 34.03, while EUR/TRY rose 0.09% to 37.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 100.67.
