Leaf Rapids, Man. officials say wildfire entered town Wednesday night – Winnipeg


Officials from the town of Leaf Rapids in northwestern Manitoba say a wildfire has entered their community, forcing all remaining personnel, including firefighters, to flee the town.

The town said in a social media post Wednesday night that flames had jumped the Churchill River and entered the town’s industrial area.
