Officials from the town of Leaf Rapids in northwestern Manitoba say a wildfire has entered their community, forcing all remaining personnel, including firefighters, to flee the town.
The town said in a social media post Wednesday night that flames had jumped the Churchill River and entered the town’s industrial area.

The fire, which is listed as out of control, is reportedly around 25 square kilometres in size.
