DoubleLine’s Deputy Chief Investment Officer Jeffrey Sherman will be a keynote speaker at the Exchange Conference in March. “Jeffrey Sherman is one of the best communicators about fixed income market developments,” said VettaFi head of research Todd Rosenbluth. “I’m excited he will be joining a high-quality lineup of Exchange conference speakers to support advisor education.”
In his role, Sherman is in charge of DoubleLine’s Investment Management sub-committee, implementing processes across investment teams. Additionally, he is the lead portfolio manager for multi-sector and derivative-based strategies. Sherman also has posts on DoubleLine’s Executive Management and Fixed Income Asset Allocation committees. DoubleLine has recently launched a suite of actively managed fixed income ETFs.
In 2018 Sherman was named as one of “10 Fund Managers to Watch” by Money Management Executive. Prior to joining DoubleLine, he worked at TCW as a portfolio manager and quantitative analyst.
Aside from his fund management expertise, Sherman hosts his own podcast, The Sherman Show. Additionally, he was a statistics and mathematics instructor at University of Pacific and Florida State University. He also has experience in the classroom teaching quantitative methods for Level 1 candidates in the CFA LA/USC Review program.Sherman holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of the Pacific and an M.S. in Financial Engineering from the Claremont Graduate University.
