Last year, Confluence Investment Management Analyst Kaisa Stucke was interviewed at Exchange. Stucke is member of the Exchange Advisor Council and has played a critical role in the planning of Exchange 2026, happening March 15th–18th in Las Vegas.
Confluence Investment Management, based in St. Louis, serves institutional and individual clients. Confluence touts more than 500 years of combined financial experience and 400 years of portfolio management experience. “At Confluence we believe that asset allocation should be dynamic,” Stucke said. “Markets don’t move in a straight line, so we adapt our portfolios to take into account the changing economic and market conditions.” Stucke emphasized the importance of also keeping in mind a portfolio’s long term goal.
Navigating market conditions is not about being purely reactive, though. “We look at the business cycle, the economic conditions, and forecast a three-year time horizon.”
Stucke praised the Exchange conference for its ability to connect the sharpest minds in the industry, noting “It’s all about idea flow at the Exchange conference.”
Asked to share her favorite memory from Exchange, Stucke said, “There’s too many memorable moments to name, but I just love the level of energy everyone brings.” She shared that the conference underscores the extent to which ETFs, as an industry, remain simultaneously well-established and constantly innovating.
“Exchange really concentrates everybody together here in the ETF industry and gives you a really nice, compact chance to talk to everyone.”
