سرلشکر آهارون حلیوا در نامه استعفای خود خاطرنشان کرد که اقتدار با مسئولیت همراه است – و اذعان کرد که اداره اطلاعات نظامی تحت فرمان او در مورد حمله 7 اکتبر هشدار نداده است.
این در حالی است که خشم عمومی علیه شکستهای دولت و ارتش اسرائیل شتاب بیشتری میگیرد.
